Community Involvement
Support
of charitable organizations has been
a basic tenet of SolTek Spine’s
business philosophy since it’s
inception.
In good times and in bad, we
believe
that we can play a vital role in
improving the quality of life for
others.
The company supports a number
of charities; however, we are most
involved with the Chloe Duyck
Memorial Fund, (also known as “Hope
4 Tiny Hearts.”)
SolTek Spine’s founders
started this fund in memory of their
daughter after they learned how
underfunded congenital heart defect
research and awareness is in
relation to the number of lives lost
each year.
After losing their daughter,
Chloe, during her second open heart
surgery, they vowed to do all they
could to stop the most common and
most fatal of all birth defects from
continuing to take lives.
They have organized events
for this effort since 2005 and
continue to dedicate much of their
time as volunteers in hopes of
providing support for medical
advances that will improve the
outcome for these often fatal
defects.
Other organizations that we have supported: Autism – Walk Now, The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society, The Beads of Courage, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Toys 4 Tiny Hearts (A Project By The Chloe Duyck Memorial Fund), and more.
